Matildas Steph Catley and Socceroos Jackson Irvine have been voted by their peers as the 2024 Austraffic PFA Footballers of the Year. Irvine and Catley join Mary Fowler and Alex Paulsen, who were revealed as the Austraffic PFA Young Footballers of the Year last week, as winners of the PFA’s major football-related awards for 2024. Irvine and Catley received the highest number of votes from professional players. The awards consider the performances of any professional playing in the A-Leagues and any Australian players plying their trade overseas between June 2023 and June 2024. The PFA is pleased to announce Alex Chidiac as the recipient of the prestigious 2024 Beyond Bank Australia Community Medal!   The Beyond Bank Community Medal recognises the contribution of a PFA member to the community, their commitment to a charitable cause, and impact off the field.    As the recipient of the medal, Chidiac receives a $2,500 donation from Beyond Bank to allocate to a charity of her choice, further supporting her efforts to create positive change.
