💓 "Without these machines, she wouldn't have been able to breathe." Meet Georgia, a proud Wheatbelt kid born prematurely, who faced serious complications affecting her breathing and ability to feed. However, thanks to vital equipment funded by the Perth Children's Hospital Foundation (PCHF) and their generous supporters, Georgia's life was saved.  This year at putt4dough, we’re raising funds to support crucial research, like the PROTECT study which aims to improve treatments for vulnerable pre-term babies like Georgia. If successful, the PROTECT study could enhance survival rates in premature babies with bloodstream infections (sepsis) and bowel inflammation, and prevent disability in up to 1 million pre-term infants worldwide.
