Thanks to Major Training Group (RTO 6139) for running one of our Women Who Weld programs. It's always great to see how much the female students enjoy these. Also, thanks to the Gateway to Industry Schools Program - Advanced Manufacturing for helping connect schools and industry for projects like this. #manufacturing #industryinsights #schools #welding
Couple weeks ago we welcomed this co-hort on site to our Yatala facility who were taken through a full day of hands-on training by our experienced engineering trainer, Craig McKenzie. The women were eager to learn and engaged with a practical assignment of hand making a jewellery tree holder. 🛠️💍👩🏭 This focus fostered an exciting opportunity for Major Training to host another “Women Who Weld” program, facilitated through the Gold Coast Manufacturing Hub, which is a branch of the Department of Regional Development, Manufacturing and Water Along with the ongoing support and recruitment from the Queensland Manufacturing Institute (QMI) who offer the Gateway to Industry Schools Program for Advanced Manufacturing. 🌟👩🏭🔧 #womeninconstruction #weld #welders #womenwelders #weldernation #tigwelding #tig #weldlife #metalwork #weldinglife #steel #metal #migwelding #weldeverydamnday #metalfabrication #welders #engineering #educationforprioritytrades
