His skill set encompasses multiple disciplines, making him adaptable to residential, commercial, hospitality, and tourism projects. Iain has developed a key area of specialisation in managing, advising and steering development opportunities.

At Mahogany House, every detail matters! Our design journey focused on refining interior materials and creating a unique palette that reflects the cultural heritage and personalities of its residents. From the earthy terracotta tiles on the façade to the vibrant interiors, color plays a vital role in harmonizing with nature. The green and plywood joinery enhances this connection, while bold accents like the terracotta sofa, green cushions, and blue entry walls create a lively, welcoming atmosphere. We also provided thoughtful furniture selection and styling to tie each space together beautifully. Mahogany House // Sustainability at its core - Although not a certified Passive House, the project adopts principles of Passivhaus Design for dwellings. A key aspect of this is the use of Structural Insulated Panels instead of a traditional timber frame. By embracing Passivhaus principles, we’re creating a space that meets all our needs within a minimal footprint that energy efficient and cost effective for the life of the building. Mahogany House // The Form - featuring two trapezoidal shapes mirrored on either side. The façade reads as a triple fronted dwelling in keeping with the style of the existing homes in the area. The sharp roof angle adds dynamic internal volumes, enhancing the living experience. We're excited to use locally made CSR - Monier Roofing terracotta shingles paired with COLORBOND® steel for the exterior cladding—an innovative choice that balances style and budget.
