Just last week, our own David McLean represented RCS Australia at the Regenerating Rangelands Conference 2024 as a speaker. By all accounts, it was a cracking good event with well over 100 attendees. 🤠 Some key messages from the conference were: 👉 The importance of long-term thinking: Attendees emphasised the need to consider the future of rangelands and make decisions that benefit future generations. 👉 The value of community and collaboration: The conference highlighted the importance of working together and building strong communities to support sustainable practices. 👉 The power of data and monitoring: The use of data and monitoring to inform management decisions and track progress was emphasised. 👉 The need for adaptability and change: Attendees recognised the importance of being flexible and willing to adapt to changing conditions. 👉 The role of education and knowledge sharing: The conference emphasised the value of sharing knowledge and experiences to foster learning and innovation. What a fantastic KIT Day in Walcha, NSW on Friday!
