Research Impact Officer job - Grade 6 £36,924-£45,163 per annum, dependent on relevant experience. Closing date 14 November 2024. The University of Manchester Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health is looking for a Research Impact Officer. It's a full-time permanent post and you'll be joining a lovely team with two other impact officers, line-managed by the equally fab Rupa Lunan (Faculty Research Excellence and Impact Manager). You'll also work closely with impact officers across the other two faculties at The University of Manchester (and me joining things up). In this role, you will work alongside the Associate Deans for Research and Innovation and School/Divisional Impact Leads to help develop, plan and implement impact strategies, taking forward projects and/or programmes of work that deliver significant benefits to society, public policy and professional services, the economy, health, medical and life sciences sectors. You'll also collaborate with academic, research and professional services colleagues to help communicate the impact of research, generate and collate the necessary evidence and share best practice.
