Thank you to the corporate affairs team at Suntory Oceania for hosting Roxane Horton and me at Suntory House at SXSW Sydney this week – a true masterclass in bringing a brand to life in an immersive, multi-sensory experience. For the last two years Rowland has been Suntory’s corporate communication partner in Queensland since it started bringing its new, carbon neutral Swanbank Manufacturing Facility and the Suntory Oceania partnership to Australia in what is the largest FMCG investment nationally in the last decade. Not only am I now a whiskey aficionado, I’m a huge fan of organisations walking the talk when it comes to purpose, philanthropy and partnership. And it helps that Sophie Lodge, Lizzie Kaye, Arianne Martin, and Carla Dovgan are amazing to work with.

On Saturday night, Brisbane City Hall was transformed into a Winter Dreaming escape for the Lord Mayor's Charitable Trust Annual Gala Ball. Once again, Rowland’s talented Creative Studio was involved in the design of this stunning concept. From outstanding performances, inspirational speeches, and even magical snowfall, the theme was apparent in every corner of the room. Congratulations to everyone involved in this significant event, which raised much needed funds for charities helping the most vulnerable people in our community. Rowland is proud to be a pro-bono Partner of this amazing event, and we look forward to continuing our support for the important work of the Trust.
