About us

Established in 1966 by rural journalists and public relations consultants, our club serves as a gathering place for individuals engaged in the rural media industry. Throughout the year, we organise a variety of events, both online and in person, featuring webinars, panel discussions, and the participation of influential figures in politics and industry. An annual highlight is our Rural and Regional Journalism and Photography Awards, conducted during August–September. This prestigious competition attracts high participation from journalists and photographers statewide. The awards culminate in a presentation ceremony where the winners and nominees are celebrated for their outstanding contributions.
