The first bounce at the ‘G on Saturday will be with the unique 2024 Grand Final Game Ball which has been specifically crafted in the Sherrin Keysborough factory this week. Featuring the team names, date, location and Grand Final logo, it is a special ball for a special occasion.

Score Assist to be introduced in NAB AFLW The AFL is pleased to confirm that ‘Score Assist’ smart ball technology will be introduced into the 2024 NAB AFLW this season. Developed over two years in conjunction with the AFL, Sportable, Intaneous and Sherrin, Score Assist will work in a covert manner, similar to how silent reviews occur in the Toyota AFL Premiership Season, whereby if the ball crosses the goal line, hits the post or is touched in flight there will be Score Assist Officials (SAO) operating at each game who will receive a real time alert indicating what has happened. 

Spalding is thrilled to announce a partnership extension with Hoop City - Australia's number 1 basketball academy and training facility! Working together since 2022, Hoop City and Spalding will continue in partnership into 2025, both sharing the common goal of contributing to improving the sport of basketball in Australia. This will see Spalding remain as the official game ball of Hoop City and will be utilised throughout all training sessions.
