  • 🍃 MEELUP FARMHOUSE SPRING SOIREE 🍃 🍃 We recently enjoyed an absolutely stunning and special event benefiting the SRBF REGIONAL rehabME program - Meelup Farmhouse's Spring Soiree. Every detail was beautifully planned and executed in this gorgeous venue, making for an exquisite evening of connection and care. 🍃 We are beyond grateful for the support of the owners of Meelup Farmhouse, Mark + Liz and together with Anneliese (Venue Manager) and Dean Williams (Head Chef) for another stunning and heartfelt event for the Saba Rose Button Foundation.   🍃 Thank you to the Meelup Farmhouse family for this incredible opportunity - in helping us, to help the children living with additional needs. Dean Williams (Head Chef) and his team donated their time and expertise to deliver a locally sourced, fabulous five course meal matched with delicious wines. Matt McWaters stepped into the role of MC and auctioneer on the evening, doing a sensational job – and giving us a few chuckles too. Nicky Sandover provided us with such beautiful sounds and incredible talent throughout the evening – taking us from acoustic guitar to the decks as the evening progressed. 🍃 Thank you to our 85 guests who contributed to the divine feel in the room – and much appreciated fundraising. With incredible support from event sponsors, donors, attendees and volunteer staff, this year’s event raised an outstanding $28,000. 🍃 Sincere thanks and gratitude to: Meelup Farmhouse La Myrtle Style House Eagle Bay Brewing Wise Wine Flametree Wines Sandalford Wines Domaine Naturaliste Café Pisco Matt McWaters Nicky Sandover Ridhwaan Moola and a range of generous donors.

  • ➰Millions of Reasons to Care ➰ National Carers Week - Sunday 13 to Saturday 19 October 2024 - is a time to recognise, celebrate and raise awareness of carers in our community. The theme, ‘Millions of Reasons to Care’, aims to broaden the awareness of the 3 million Australians caring for their family members and friends. Carers represent a diverse range of cultures, ages, experiences and responsibilities, but all of them balance caring responsibilities with other responsibilities like work, study and maintaining their physical and mental health. More than one in ten Australians are carers. They make an enormous contribution to our community as well as our national economy. To all those caring in our Community – particularly the parents of the children in our SRBF Village – WE SEE YOU! YOU ARE AMAZING!!!! When someone is caring for a family member or friend living with additional care needs, there may be signs that they need support too. Carers WA resources can be used as a guide to having a conversation about what your family member/friend needs. If you need support – contact https://lnkd.in/e8gHvtX

  • 🟢 WA MENTAL HEALTH WEEK 🟢 We are proud to be working alongside ccm. (connect case management) and At Home Care this week as we highlight mental wellbeing, particularly for those in the healthcare sector and caring roles. 🟣 Prioritising the mental wellbeing of employees / carers isn’t just about health benefits; it’s about ensuring better outcomes for those in their care. When mentally healthy, people in these roles are more resilient, more engaged, and better able to meet the needs of the people they support. 🟣 ccm. (connect case management) deliver the Be Well Co program to their team, which offers scientifically backed tools to boost resilience and wellbeing. This week, their Be Well Co facilitator is delivering mini masterclasses on Managing Stress and Self-Compassion to the team at @At Home Care and the @Saba Rose Button Foundation. 🟣 For more information about the Be Well Co program and how CCM can deliver this within your organisation, please contact at info@connectcasemanagement.com or phone them on (08) 6184 9848. @MentalHealthWeekWA #mhw2024
