An extensive aircore drilling program has commenced at Sabre Resources Ltd Sherlock Bay Project in Western Australia’s highly prospective North-West Pilbara region, testing a series of electromagnetic (EM) sulphide targets within the Scholl Shear Gold and Ni-Cu-Co corridor. Previous diamond drilling of a major EM anomaly south-west of the existing Sherlock Bay Ni-Cu-Co Sulphide Mineral Resource intersected significant #gold mineralisation associated with Ni-Cu-Co bearing semi-massive sulphides, including: ▪️ 14.5m @ 1.8 g/t AuEq (0.87 g/t Au, 0.28% Ni, 0.15% Cu, 0.05% Co) from 328m in SBDD0101 incl. 8.0m @ 2.0 g/t AuEq (1.07 g/t Au, 0.30% Ni, 0.11% Cu, 0.05% Co) from 331m incl. 1.0m @ 3.7 g/t AuEq (2.69 g/t Au, 0.33% Ni, 0.09% Cu, 0.05% Co) from 335m CEO Jon Dugdale commented: “The discovery of gold mineralisation associated with semi-massive sulphides in the Scholl Shear clearly demonstrates the potential for a significant gold discovery within the Company’s extensive tenement holdings at Sherlock Bay in the north-west Pilbara. The targeted Scholl Shear is parallel to, and only 80km to the north-west of, the Mallina Shear, which hosts the world-class, >10Moz Hemi gold discovery. The Scholl Shear occurs over 20km within the Company’s tenements where no previous gold exploration has been conducted prior to the Company intersecting a 14.5m sulphide zone with gold grades of up to 2.7 g/t. The targeted aircore drilling program we have commenced will test six previously-untested EM anomalies/sulphide targets, along strike from the gold-bearing zone intersected in SBDD010.” Read full #ASX Announcement here: https://bit.ly/3Nhyv35

ASX:SBR. Advancing exploration assets via discovery and development of economic mineral deposits.
About us
Sabre Resources Ltd (‘the Company’ or ‘Sabre’) is an exploration and mining development company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange under the symbol “SBR”. The Company’s strategy is focussed on building shareholder value through advancing exploration assets via discovery and development of economic mineral deposits. The strategic focus of the Company, geographically, is the world-class mineral terranes of Western Australia, with a commodity focus on nickel (sulphides) and gold. Nickel is a key battery mineral and prices are projected to continue increasing due to rapidly growing demand for critical lithium-ion battery components to power the electric vehicle and other renewable energy industries. Gold has continued to be strongly supported and is likely to benefit from projected inflationary pressures globally. The Company’s primary focus is its Sherlock Bay Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project in the northwest Pilbara region of Western Australia, where a resource containing approximately 100Kt of Nickel has been defined and a recently completed Scoping Study on the Project (refer to SBR announcement dated 27 January 2022) has highlighted the cashflow potential of the project at current and projected nickel prices and upside potential for higher-grade nickel sulphides at depth. Three other nickel sulphide projects have recently been acquired in WA (refer to SBR announcement dated 13 December 2021), as the Company looks to become a key player in the nickel sulphide exploration and development space. The Company also continues to build on it’s portfolio of gold exploration assets in the in the highly prospective Youanmi Terrane of Western Australia, with the acquisition of the Ninghan Gold Project, located in the southern Murchison District, 20km, along strike from the Mt Gibson Gold that has a 3.0Moz pre-mining gold endowment.

Sabre Resources Ltd CEO Jon Dugdale’s recent field trip to the Cave Hill Project followed up highly-anomalous #gold and #lithium targets identified from soil sampling across its extensive 700 sq.km tenement holdings in WA’s world-class Eastern Goldfields gold, nickel and lithium province. Key gold and lithium soil anomalies indicate that the large, untested, greenstone corridor discovered within the project is highly-prospective for gold deposits as well as lithium-bearing pegmatites. The Company has completed infill sampling and awaits results before defining aircore drilling targets for gold and lithium deposits in the underlying greenstone lithologies. Sabre has over 100km of strike of granted tenements over this newly identified greenstone corridor. The corridor is along strike and parallel to other greenstone belts which host major gold, lithium and nickel deposits in the region, including the 2.8Moz Coolgardie Goldfield along strike to the north. The Cave Hill greenstone corridor is under shallow cover, which is why it has remained largely un-explored. Images from the Cave Hill Project include: ◾ Potentially gold bearing quartz vein ◾ Mineralised quartz vein ◾ Outcropping greenstone ◾ Pegmatite outcrop. #SBR #exploration

Sabre Resources Ltd has generated multiple #drilling targets for high-grade #uranium at its Dingo Project following detailed drone magnetics surveys and radiometrics re-processing. Dingo sits within Sabre’s extensive and strategic 1,100km2 tenement package in the highly-prospective Ngalia Basin, 300km north-west of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. CEO Jon Dugdale commented: “Our exploration program at Dingo is in full swing, with detailed drone magnetics highlighting extensions of the uranium-bearing Mt Eclipse Sandstone over a strike length of over 50km, and mineralised fault structures and palaeo-channel targets also identified. “Drilling is planned to initially follow-up previous high-grade uranium results of up to 5,194ppm eU3O8, before extending to test extensions of the Mt Eclipse Sandstone and the palaeo-channel targets. “The combination of drilling to immediately follow up extensions of high-grade uranium resources and intersections, and further geophysics to define new targets under cover, will present the Company with multiple uranium discovery opportunities in this highly-prospective area.” Read full #ASX announcement here: https://bit.ly/3VMoj6D #ASXNews #SBR #exploration

#ASXNews Further detailed drone-magnetics surveying at Andover Northeast has identified a key #lithium-#pegmatite target zone on extensions of the northeast-trending fault corridor which hosts Azure Minerals’ Andover lithium discovery in WA’s highly-prospective northwest Pilbara region. The new Andover Northeast target zone is in addition to three ‘Andover look-alike’ lithium targets identified previously at Andover East, north of the Company’s Sherlock Bay Project. All targets are in areas of shallow cover with no previous exploration. Sabre Resources Ltd CEO, Jon Dugdale commented: “This new drone magnetic data we have received has highlighted the excellent prospectivity of Sabre’s Andover Northeast tenements to host lithium-bearing pegmatites, only 5km northeast of Azure Minerals’ world-class Andover lithium discovery. “The Company is finalising heritage and access agreements with the Native Title holder that will allow the granting of the key tenements. Once the tenements are granted, we will carry out detailed gravity to further define the targets prior to aircore drilling to test for soil-covered lithium pegmatites in this highly-prospective but under-explored region where Sabre has an extensive footprint of more than 300 square kilometres of ground.” Read full #ASX announcement here: https://lnkd.in/gs4s4sTN #exploration #drilling #SBR
