Last week we hosted a webinar on "Technical Audit as a Change Management Tool" for the Asia-Pacific audience. The speakers were ASEAN regional market leader Theo Vares and guest expert Ruslan Shelekhov. We were pleased to see CEOs from Bangladesh, Indonesia, Hong Kong and the Philippines in the audience. Technical Audit is one of Sibedge's services that helps our clients solve technical and business problems. It can be a poor system performance, a security gap, insufficient quality of software development processes or management problems. After the audit, the client receives not only a report with all identified deficiencies in the system, infrastructure, production processes, but also possible ways to eliminate them. Moreover, we present these ways in the form of 3 different scenarios, depending on how quickly the company wants to achieve the result. Technical audits are used for a variety of reasons, from the need to plan for important certifications or entering new markets, to the purpose of implementing changes in the company's structure. During a technical audit, Sibedge's experts help to assess the situation in an unbiased manner and identify important details that may have been overlooked by internal specialists. During the webinar we received many questions. One of them was: can technical audits be used as a change management tool in an organization? Yes, an IT audit can indeed become a driver of managed change in an organization. For example, to justify a budget for product development, to motivate stakeholders to make important changes in business processes or in the company's infrastructure. The results of the audit bring about the right changes in the company's work, appeal to people, evaluate the performance of employees and solve many other problems. However, it is important to understand that while a technical audit is a hundred-meter sprint, the subsequent changes are a 42-kilometer marathon for the company's management and employees. We appreciate you listening to our webinars. If for some reason you missed this really cool event, a recording is available at the link: https://lnkd.in/d5XnCZTz Enjoy watching! Also, after the webinar, we were happy to share with all listeners a checklist for assessing a company's readiness for an audit and an example of an audit report. Write teo.vares@sibedge.com and we'll send them to you!
