Silverstone Managing Director Kenny Keogh Presenting at the Mount Gibson Contractors Forum!   Silverstone had the privilege of presenting at the Mount Gibson Iron Contractor’s Forum last week. This was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our partnership with MGI over the last 6 years. Silverstone have provided over 400 people to Mount Gibson to date. Silverstone has also supplied, installed, and maintained 10MW of power for their Koolan Island operations. Silverstone has also provided support to the shutdown team as well as providing services to the mobile maintenance division. We look forward to our ongoing partnership and providing our services to Mount Gibson into the future. 👏 Project Completion 👏 Silverstone successfully completed a significant project for a well-known mining company in the Pilbara. Our scope of work included survey, mechanical, electrical, civil, piping, and maintenance activities. This multiple discipline scope was safely executed over 8months 🔷 Case Study: Major Water Infrastructure Scope of Work: ◼️ Site Survey: Initial set-out, survey control, ongoing construction surveys, and as-built surveys. ◼️ Clearing and Earthworks: 32 km of clearing, grubbing, LV/HV and creek crossing crossings, topsoil stripping, stockpiling, and earth mound construction. ◼️ Pipe Installation: Installation, testing, and commissioning of 32 km of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) spur pipes and associated fittings for six new bores. ◼️ Support Structures: Supply and installation of all pipe supports and concrete blocks. ◼️ Dewatering Systems: Installation of six dewatering packages. ◼️ Transfer Pump Stations: Installation of three transfer pump stations. ◼️ Generators: Supply, rental, and installation of 31 generators including 2 power stations ◼️ EV Charing Station: Supply and Install mobile EV Charging station Directional Drilling: Supply and installation of three HDD directional drill shots. ◼️ Additional Work: Installation, testing, and commissioning of various electrical and mechanical systems. ◼️ Ongoing Support: Continuous support throughout the project. 🔷 Personnel: Over 45 team members 🔷Hours LTI Free: 65,211 hours without lost time injuries 🔷Compliance: Adhered to all health, safety, environmental, and community requirements. #WAMining #ProjectCompletion #InnovationinMining
