Garden Village recently unveiled the Birpai Artwork created by artist Nardja Carter. A huge thanks to Birpai Artist Nardja Carter who brought the paintings to life with beautiful storytelling connecting us to the importance of ancestors, culture, family and the natural world. Nardja shared a personal connection to Garden Village as her grandmother was cared for here. The artwork is titled {Mara Murrung yawutungga} To Go Well on a Journey. Thanks to our team, guests the local community - the event beautifully blended Aboriginal Art and Virtual Reality to celebrate intergenerational connectedness and culture. Guests travelled on a journey across Australia with SilVR Adventures Virtual Reality viewing First Nations Song and Dance from Byron Bay to Uluru. Today the SilVR Adventures team are at Cremorne Digital Hub in Melbourne for the Open ‘Tech’ House’ week, thanks to our good friends at La Trobe University. It's an opportunity with three CDH University partners – RMIT University , University of Melbourne and La Trobe – to have a space at CDH HQ - 80 Balmain St – to exhibit innovative ‘tech’. The purpose being to provide opportunities for attendees (businesses and the public) to have exposure to, and where possible, a ‘hands-on’ Tech experience. The 4-days also includes workshops, fireside chats, thought leadership discussions/debates, etc. If you're in the area, come say hi 👋
