How do PPAs save you money? It’s simple. 1️⃣ You pay $0 upfront. We design, engineer, install and electrify a commercial solar system on your premises (at this stage, we own the system and you’re hosting it). 2️⃣ You buy the energy the system generates from us at a cheaper rate than you would pay from the grid - often as much as 50% cheaper! 3️⃣ You buy any additional power you need from the grid. This can be as little as half or even a quarter of the energy you’re currently buying. 4️⃣ When you add those two bills together, you’re still spending a lot less on energy than you were previously, while reducing your Scope 2 emissions significantly. 5️⃣ You pocket the savings, and after the agreement ends, you take ownership of the system. #RenewableEnergy #CommercialSolar #PPA #SolarPower #EnergyCosts #Emissions #Scope2

🌍🚨 Australia’s New Mandatory Reporting Regulations: Debunking 3 Common Myths 🚨🌍 Many businesses think they won’t be impacted by new ESG reporting requirements, but the reality is that these changes will ripple across all industries. Let’s set the record straight. 📉 Myth #1: My business is too small to be affected. ✅ Fact: If your customers are reporting, your business is part of their supply chain. It’s time to be proactive! ⏳ Myth #2: It’s too early to think about this. ✅ Fact: Complex projects like solar and storage take time. Start now to future-proof your operations. 🌱 Myth #3: ESG reporting is all about environmental impact. ✅ Fact: ESG covers much more, from governance to social factors like labour practices and community engagement. 💡 Ready to start planning? 🌱 Huge thanks to NetNada for an insightful lunch and learn at Smart Commercial Solar! We had the pleasure of hosting Alex King and Lochie Burke, who walked us through the essentials of carbon accounting and how we can position Smart Commercial Solar for success amidst the growing pressures of mandatory sustainability reporting. With these changes on the horizon, it's more important than ever for us to speak the same language as our customers. The timing of this session couldn’t be more crucial, especially as the ACCC and ASIC continue to crack down on greenwashing practices. Case in point: the recent Federal Court ruling against Mercer Superannuation, where misleading sustainability claims led to an $11.3M fine. This is a reminder that transparency and accuracy are no longer optional but mandatory for building trust and credibility. 💡 NetNada shared valuable insights on sustainability drivers for various customer profiles, from SMEs to larger privately owned groups, and Group 1 and 2 companies. As mandatory reporting kicks in, we’re committed to upskilling our team to ensure we’re equipped for this shift in the market, and NetNada is playing a key role in helping us do just that! Thanks again, NetNada, for helping us stay ahead of the curve in this evolving space! #Sustainability #CarbonAccounting #MandatoryReporting #Greenwashing #NetNada #SolarEnergy #ACCC #ASIC #Upskilling #RenewableEnergy #CommercialSolar

Farmers were among the earliest adopters of solar technology. So, it’s no surprise that they’re investing in battery storage ahead of most industries, too. Reducing grid reliance, safeguarding against brownouts and blackouts and protecting profits from being eroded by rising energy costs are not “optional extras” for farmers. They’re critical to securing the viability of their livelihood on the land. Our Head of Marketing, Lauren Hamilton, wrote a guest blog recently on the topic for our friends at Energy Renaissance.
