  • You can not change what you do not own Want to evolve this year? 👏 Own your skill set. (Then acknowledge the gaps and plan how to improve your abilities) Want to have better relationships? 👏 Own that you can change those relationships. It's down to you. (Then review what needs to tweak, drop, improve - what needs to be done to nurture those you want better connections with?) Want to make more money? 👏 Own that your finances are a result of your beliefs about money. (Then you can map out a plan to work on beliefs and strategies to improve money flow) Want to change how life is? 👏 Own that where you are is sum total of all your choices until this moment. (Then choose what you do want to have in your life, break it down into areas and sub areas and build up visions of how that would look) 🏆 Once you 'own' something you can then work on a plan. The lack of owning means you are spinning on the spot. Lack of owning might show it'self as blame, avoidance, annoyance, intollerance, anger - mainly pointing the finger 'outward' at others, seeing them as the roadblock, the handbrake to your advancement in whatever area. Once you say 'hey its me, I'm the only factor that can change' you can work on a plan. 🙌 To be clear this isn't a negative 'its all my fault' (pointing the finger inwards in judgement) it's having an awareness, accepting that you can change the outcome. #mindset #mindsetstrategies #communication

  • Client asking for a discount? How do you react? Are you reviewing the conversation? (or dropping rate)? Why would they ask for a discount? (let's assume they didn't see the value) Did they apologise for asking for the discount? (possibly implying they are 'sold' but someone else - a different decision maker - isn't) meaning- are you selling 'up the line' or assume your 'go to person' has full buying capacity? Often we think it's 'in the bag' to find that they are in another bag! Answer: Be fully present with the client See what questions they ask you (hint, the harder the quesitons from the client the higher chance they are serious) What turned them on? (and off)? Are you tailoring your questions and therefore your solution to them (or a copy and paste response)? #review #value #besold #pitchtowin
