Turnover..... Lets talk "Turnover" and not the yummy warm one in the pic below! Remember, your people are your biggest asset and advocates, every organisation experiences turnover in some way, shape, or form. With all turnover, questions do need to be asked, but are we "REALLY" asking them? For example, when individuals choose to exit a business, it can be for a number of reasons. However, what companies do with this "turnover" can have a lasting impact on their future. As business leaders, we need to reflect on all departures and turnover, and carefully assess, the next way forward. Do we panic and replace the position "as is" because we don't have the time to think differently, OR do we take the time and truly assess the future needs of a business and make necessary changes to a function? This may be according to market conditions, business growth needs, or possibly the current function has outgrown the business and needs to be re-categorised - who knows!
