We are sad to announce that #ourblaze inaugral chairperson, Karina Franke has made the decision to step down from her position in 2024. An integral member in the foundation of South Coast Blaze, Karina has worked tirelessly behind the scenes over the last five years to ensure the continued success of the Blaze franchise. A few words from Karina on her decision: “I have immensely enjoyed watching what this franchise has brought to netball in its respective regions and have loved seeing local talent develop through our Talent Identification Program and pathway to our U23’s and Opens Teams. 2024 brings new opportunities for me personally and I’m excited to see what the new Board can do with some key partnerships developing to continue to enhance netball around our regions.” Thankyou, Karina!
