Happy International Women's Day 2024 Thank you to all the insightful speakers at Ishar's International Women’s Day breakfast yesterday. Dr Gill Walker (CEO) and our two provisional psychologists, Bec and Zee, attended the event in celebration of this year’s #InspireInclusion theme. The speakers encouraged attendees to challenge gender bias and inequality in their lives, both professional and personal. Zee said "Such an amazing opportunity to listen to some inspiring speakers who are passionate about championing women, to reflect on what we do well at SCHCS and how we can continue to be part of empowering women into the future." Together, we can create a future where every woman and girl has the opportunity to thrive, unhindered by discrimination or prejudice. #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2024 #Diversity #Inclusion #GenderEquality #March8 #YourCommunity #StrongWomen #StrongFamilies #StrongerCommunities

Staff from South Coastal Health & Community Services and Babbingur Mia recently enjoyed a cultural tour with In Culture Tours at Boya Kaarla (Point Peron). We enjoyed enchanting stories, breathtaking landscapes, and discovered the deep-rooted connections that enrich Indigenous culture in our local area. Read the full blog on our website to discover the beauty of Boya Kaarla, and the lessons we can all learn about respecting and protecting the culture of the land we call home. https://lnkd.in/gMPJXzMg 🎥 Sand and Water Ceremony #NoongarCulture #reconciliation #pointperon #CulturalAwareness #YourCommunity #StrongWomen #StrongFamilies #StrongerCommunities
