Southern Cross Gold is a gold exploration company primarily focused on three of the nine historic epizonal goldfields in the Melbourne Zone of Victoria which cover an area of approximately 471km². It owns 100% of the Sunday Creek project, a shallow orogenic (or epizonal) Fosterville-style deposit located 56 kilometres north of Melbourne and contained with 19,365 hectares of both granted and applied for exploration tenements. It is earning up to 70% of the Redcastle and Whroo projects, both again epizonal fields, to the north of Sunday Creek. Redcastle is located 2 kilometres along strike from Mandalay Resources’ Costerfield mine exploration tenements and on a parallel north-south structure and 24 kilometres east of Kirkland Lake Gold’s Fosterville mine – two of the world’s highest grade gold mines. The Whroo goldfield is one of the largest historic epizonal goldfields in Victoria and remains untested to depth. Southern Cross Gold also holds a strategic 10% shareholding in ASX listed Nagambie Resources Ltd (Nagambie) and, with that, a right of first refusal to take up or match proposals being considered over a competitive 3,300km2 tenement package in central northern Victoria held by Nagambie. Southern Cross Gold also holds five exploration prospecting licences for 785km2 of granted exploration licences in the Cloncurry district of Mt Isa, over a combined 60 kilometres of strike, and is surrounded by South32 Ltd and Sandfire Resources Ltd.

Golden Dyke is now a bona fide new mineralised zone at Sunday Creek that keeps getting bigger and better. SDDSC132 & 138 following up on SDDSC130 to demonstrate high-grade mineralisation underneath the old Golden Dyke mine. With five new vein sets discovered at depth in SDDSC132, take a look at Figure 2 in this release to see where further upside lies as we continue to drill into the untested areas below Christina and further below Golden Dyke. Stay tuned as we continuously release results from our current 60km drill program at the property. #Clonbinane #highgradegold #antimony #gothesocceroos #exploration #victoria

Several SXG staff are horse and cattle owners, so we found it to be an invaluable night. Funds were also raised to support Arthur’s Creek CFA Animal Rescue Team. Write to contact@arthurscreekcfa.org.au if you would like to donate to one of the few Animal Rescue teams in Victoria. #clonbinane #animalrescue #cfa #communityrelations

Our goal is to create long-term relationships with the Taungurung people based on respect, trust and mutual benefit. Recently, Uncle Shane came to our Kilmore office and delivered an engaging day of learning, giving staff an appreciation of the rich and ancient First Nations history local to our Sunday Creek Project. Below are one of our field technicians, Pat, and senior geologist, Zac Turschwell, nice and warm in a Taungurung possum skin cloak with Uncle Shane. #taungurung #tlawc #clonbinane #kilmore #possums #communityrelations

On top of that, the wedge hole SDDSC119W1 shows continuity of mineralisation over a 0.6 m down dip distance of SDDSC119 each hitting 5.5 m @ 5.1 g/t AuEq and 5.6 m @ 4.3 g/t AuEq. 10 vein sets intersected in total across the two holes and multiple high grade assayed samples along the way. Read all about it in the announcement below. #clonbinane #mineralisation #gold #thenervesmustbeincreasingforthepoms #antimony #exploration
