When we memorialise members of our community, we recognise the time and dedication they have given to their (and our) local councils. Gregory William Clydesdale is one such community member who served for thirty years as a civil engineer for the Shire of Cranbourne in Victoria. In this memorial park, Greg has been recognised for his dedicated service and generous spirit. Spark were honoured to be involved in the Ovingham Level Crossing Removal Project, which was awarded the 2024 AILA SA Landscape Architecture Award for Infrastructure, and the AILA SA Health Parks Healthy People Commendation. Imagine a group of children sitting, chatting and playing on these beautiful pods under the shade of a leafy tree. Working with design practice, Climbing Tree Creations, Spark designed and fabricated three custom Tree Pods to be installed at Portside Christian College in South Australia.
