Let’s close out another exceptionally busy week at Igne with an on-site image thanks to Jonathan Geach. Pictured is Adam Charlesworth, Igne's Senior Field Engineer from our Daventry hub. He’s carrying out a CBR plate test for our friends at MV Kelly on site in Burton. If you zoom in you might just be able to make out that he’s using the Spectra QEST field application. We’re chuffed (sorry, forgot I’m writing for LinkedIn … that should read ‘we are excited, proud and passionate’!) to be SpectraQEST’s first UK cloud-based client. And not ‘just’ for such boasting rights – but because it brings so many benefits to our clients and our staff alike. For our clients, the technology means we only have to key in data once, enabling far faster and more efficient reporting which means they in turn can make critical decisions sooner and crack on quicker. And for our staff? Well, as the industry experts at GeoDrilling International intimated yesterday when they reported on Mark G. E. Toye joining our leadership team, we have incredibly ambitious growth plans. Being cloud-based means we can scale seamlessly as we welcome more and more Field Engineers. ➡ (Hint hint - we are recruiting!) ⬅ SpectraQEST LIMS is being put through its paces by colleagues at our Airdrie, Barnsley and Daventry materials testing hubs. And as ever, the success of the project to date is down to a fantastic team effort. The team in this case has been led by the aforementioned brilliant Jon Geach, with Peter Godfrey and David McGiff ensuring full operational and technical support. Special mention to Ryan Wason who has carried out much of the more complex configuration work - and Cameron Loudon who headed up the QA side of the project.
