We celebrated women in the life sciences sector with AusBiotech today! We've watched the size of this annual lunch grow year on year, and we're grateful to AusBiotech for its events and mentoring programs that support women in the life sciences sectors throughout the year. The 2025 International Women's Day theme of #AccelerateAction aims to highlight the many barriers that remain for women. AusBiotech CEO, Rebekah Cassidy, addressed the persistence of unbalanced gender representation at the highest levels of the life sciences industry, followed by discussions on the ways in which gender diversity in leadership positions enhance the performance of the whole organisation. Gelion is pleased to announce the successful award of three patents in the United States in relation to the Group’s core Lithium-Sulfur (LiS) technology and the acceptance of one of its recycling patent applications by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Gelion continues to actively pursue, focus, and strengthen its Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio in accordance with its IP Strategy. These grants further strengthen Gelion's comprehensive LiS IP portfolio, which now includes over 200 patents and patent applications across 44 families, covering anode, cathode, electrolyte, battery design/manufacturing, and battery management ensuring end-to-end protection across the entire Li-S battery value chain.
