🌾 Today, on the United Nations International Day of Rural Women, we proudly highlight 'Climate Smart Women'! This inspiring collaboration between Rural Economies Centre of Excellence and CatholicCare Social Services Southern QLD, supported by the Hub, showcases the incredible stories of women producers telling stories of climate smart sustainable agricultural practices that help prepare for drought and other extreme climate events. Last week in Charleville, we celebrated this amazing project with a dinner and workshop led by renowned 'Outback' cameraman and filmmaker Pete Murray. Thank you to everyone who worked on this project, and to our incredible participants! Here's to empowering rural women for a sustainable future!
