Supporting women to improve health & wellbeing through all stages of life through education and innovative products
About us
SRC compression garments have been designed to provide continuous support and relief of pain during pregnancy, faster recovery after delivery, light stress urinary incontinence & prolapse as well as for post-surgery and after exercise, by facilitating muscle healing. Designed by women for women. Whilst recovering in hospital after the birth of her first child, our founder Sinead O’Donovan decided that new mums deserved more help getting back to their busy lives. Drawing on her extensive medical and bio-mechanical background, Sinead envisaged a garment that would be comfortable for new mums to wear all day whilst giving her all the support she and her body need. This unique, patented product has now helped thousands of Mums worldwide recover easier & enjoy their baby. Whilst the company and the product range continues to grow, our focus stays clearly on delivering quality garments that meet the real needs of Mum and all her family. We remain committed to original Australian designs that won’t compromise on quality, performance or your expectations. We welcome customer feedback, and will ALWAYS stand behind our product.

Midwives are the backbone of maternal care, but Australia’s midwife workforce is facing an unprecedented crisis. With over a third of midwives considering leaving the profession, this shortfall could severely impact the quality of care for mothers and newborns. SRC Health is committed to supporting midwives and maternal health by providing women with innovative recovery solutions like our SRC Pregnancy, and Recovery garments, designed to enhance physical recovery and well-being during and after childbirth. By offering evidence-based, non-invasive solutions, we aim to ease the burden on both healthcare providers and mothers, ensuring that women receive the care and support they need during one of the most vulnerable periods of their lives. Let's raise awareness about the importance of midwives and the support they deserve to continue providing exceptional care. Thank you to https://lnkd.in/gDwPVbUm for all the work you do for your members and the public.

Repost from @strongcoremama As someone who has been a Physical Therapist for 11 years it makes me sad how many moms reach out to me and say they tried some version of a “mom tummy program” from a “pelvic floor expert” and it made their symptoms worse OR created new symptoms!😭 The pelvic floor is incredibly complex. 19 muscles work together to support your core and control peeing, pooping & penetration (Head to my stories to watch “What is your pelvic floor?” video 🎥) Mama friend, you deserve better than a YouTube video or a “mom pooch” program. I’ve dedicated my life to this work and would be honored to come alongside you in this important journey of pre & postnatal health.☺️ Do you have any Pelvic Floor PT questions? Please reach out to @strongcoremama

Thank you @the.local.osteo ✨SILICONE scar strips ➡️ how to level up your c-section scar healing✨ When I had my first c-section I had never heard of these or how they could help my scar heal. I wish someone had told me earlier - something I also often hear from my c-section patients. Silicone scar sheets like these ones from SRC are a soft flexible adhesive gel strips that help to: 💫 create an optimal healing environment for the skin 💫 form a protective barrier to lock in moisture, helping cell turnover and collagen production 💫 flatten and soften scar tissue 💫 reduce skin tension around the scar to minimise the risk of scar widening 💫 reduce scar redness and discolouration Scar strips can be worn as soon as your wound has fully healed, around 6-8 weeks post surgery. They can also help the appearance of older scars. I started using these a little later in my recovery (around 12 months post second c-section) and found after 12 weeks of pretty continuous wear my scar appeared flatter and the redness had faded 🙌 Personally I found the strips to be superior to topical silicone gel, however research shows both are effective scar treatment options. Have you tried silicone scar strips or something similar to help your scar heal? I would love to know your experience ☺️ #osteopath #osteopathy #csection #csectionrecovery #csectionmama #csectionscar #csectionscarhealing #csectionscarmassage #siliconescarsheets #siliconescargel #csectionosteopath
