Hey everyone! Term 3 of our Teen Night Out program is here! If you haven't heard of it, Life Purpose Australia and Dynamic Support WA aim to get young men and women with disabilities aged 15-18 out into the community, socialise with other young men and women their age and hopefully make some friendships and have some fun! We run Teen Night Outs every Thursday between 5:30pm and 8:30pm. Life Purpose Australia and Dynamic Support WA will have support workers and facilitators on site every week to be able to support the young men and women who attend. This week will be at our South Hub at State Wide Community Services - NDIS Disability Support Services Perth Space who has kindly allowed us to use their space this Term. They have a pool table, board games, art station, sensory room, breakout area and more! We are offering two free trial weeks of Teen Night Out so you can come and along and see what's it's like with no charge. If you are interested and want to register your interest. Ensure all activities involve physical engagement. If you are a male support worker with at least one year of experience within the NDIS industry, have the NDIS Worker Screening, first aid and CPR certification, a roadworthy vehicle, WA driver's license, and full comprehensive insurance, please email HR at hr@statewidecs.org and reference Madora Bay. You must also have a Working with Children Check, first aid, CPR, police check, and 100 points of ID. Completion of the NDIS New Worker Induction Module, NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module, NDIS Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals Module, and NDIS Worker Orientation Module is required. All other training will be provided once you are successful and onboarded. You must also be okay with completing our online modules prior to the shift.
