IRL is the best, even (especially?) with robots. Our co-founder Bridget Cull had fun meeting Andromeda's robot, Abi, IRL recently after learning all about her through our work on marketing foundations, from brand strategy all the way through to sales materials. And she can confirm this is one impressive robot – on track to be the world's most empathetic robot, with a lovely team of humans building her. Find out more about their mission and the positive difference Abi is making in the world at: https://lnkd.in/gg3zN45c
Bantering with Abi, the robot 🤣 Thanks for letting me drop by Team Andromeda while Grace Brown and Brian McCarthy were interstate. With such lovely humans on the team, it’s easy to see how you’re creating the world’s most empathetic robot! 💫 So much fun to visit IRL. I could’ve stayed for hours and bantered with Abi but didn’t want to distract the team. If you want to learn more about what they’re doing, head to dromeda.com.au 🤖

We ❤️ working with good people. And it's even better when they're talented, creative and hardworking, too! That's why it was our pleasure to be part of this collab between Skale and Square Peg Helping out on the copywriting side (for those who don't know, our co-founder Bridget Cull has a background in this) was one thing... but seeing web design magic bring the Square Peg brand story to life was a whole other thing! Take a look around the site for yourself, and you'll see what we mean: https://www.squarepeg.vc/ Pleasure to work with you 🍌 Joumana Elomar Maria Catanzariti @michaelviney
A dream collaboration. Square Peg approached SKALE with the goal to: create a website the team are proud of. From the very start, they were the perfect collaborators. Firm on the goals, open on the ideas. This made bringing to life the vision such a deep joy. We're honoured to play a small role in making the team feel proud. They are some of the loveliest, most talented and deeply caring people out there. Here's what Maria had to say at the end: "Joumana and the team at Skale offer a truly unique collaboration. From the start, they were trusted partners and took the time to go deep and understand our needs and requirements to bring the project to life in an authentic way. They’re creative, flexible and passionate about what they do, and they deliver amazing results. Working with Jo and the team was an absolute delight." Congratulations to the amazing Grace Brown from Andromeda! 💫 We're not surprised she's on the cover of Forbes 30 under 30. But we are absolutely stoked! It's our pleasure to work with founders like Grace and their awesome teams. We're so excited to see Andromeda's robot, Abi, bring endless empathy, meaningful connection and joy to aged care residents in Australia. Visit dromeda.com.au to see what Abi means to people. More testimonials coming soon. Heads up though: grab your tissues because this robot brings the happy tears! 😍 Brian McCarthy Bridget Cull 🚀Gemma Clancy 🍌 Joumana Elomar
AHH SCREAMING!!! Not only did we make Forbes 30 under 30, we made it on the cover! 😱😆 This is honestly insane. Thank you to my investors who nominated me (Purpose Ventures, Galileo Ventures) 🥺 While this recognition is just incredibly awesome, what is even more meaningful to me is the journey I’m on with my team and the incredible impact we see Abi making in the world. My team has poured their heart and souls into getting Abi to this stage. They bring so much energy, creativity, and passion to everything they do. This recognition belongs to all of us (our average team age is under 30 😉). Collectively, we’re on a mission to create a billion dollar company that sets a new standard for social humanoid robots. I truly believe the best is yet to come 🚀 Brian McCarthy Yan Chen Tom Cameron Emile Akbarzadeh Erika Choong Michael Shannon Joshua Leivenzon Tyson Truong Nilp Amin Conroy Cheers Jonathan Rooney Mitch O'Grady Charmaine Yeo Kate Dent Kai Dreyfus-Ballesi Forbes Australia #30u30 https://lnkd.in/gBpUDuPW

It's the same every year, right? Despite all the time-saving tools to 10x productivity, it all starts to slide down into deprioritisation then survival mode from about... now. And before you know it, you're not where you want to be at the start of a new year. 🧗🏼♀️ Unless you're one of those super organised over-achieving types who plans ahead and locks in expert support to keep moving forward without having to do it all themselves? 🤔 Or... you talk to us about our 12-week Signature Service to level up your marketing foundations and put a plan into action. Yep, do that one 👆🏼 🤣 (But seriously, reach out via Bridget Cull or 🚀Gemma Clancy or book a discovery call via stellastartups.com)

What % of your brand should your logo comprise? 100%? 90%? Try more like 20%. WHAT?! 🤯 🤯 🤯 Think of your logo as the icing on a delicious cake - that’s always the part you remember, right? But no matter how good the icing is, it can’t save a badly made cake! SO, what’s the other 80% or so of your brand? ✨ Your brand foundations / strategy. ✨ There’s a lot of jargon in the brand strategy world and sometimes it seems like a minefield of overlapping terms. Some marketers and brand experts use slightly different terms for the same things. 🤦🏼♀️ But what brand foundations really come down to is getting clear on: 1.) Why you exist and what you stand for (you might hear this called brand purpose, essence or idea). 2.) Who you’re here for and why you’re the “obviously awesome” choice for them (known as positioning). 3.) How you make that clear to your target audience (you might hear terms like value propositions and customer-centric messaging). Funnily enough, we recently shared startup brand building tips with Airwallex, and the article doesn’t even use the word “logo” once! This wasn’t intentional, and it’s not that your logo isn’t important (it really is). It’s that the logo is so often seen as 100% of the brand, rather than the physical representation of it. In the article, you’ll find tips on nailing your brand with limited resources and pitfalls to avoid. Link in comments below. 👇 Thanks so much for the collab Taylor Fox-Smith and Marina Roussel ! #startups #marketingforstartups #brandingforstartups —————————————————————- (If you’re ready to level up your brand and marketing foundations, our 12-week Signature Service will do that plus help deliver marketing activities as well.
