Last week, the Style Arcade team proudly participated in Evocative Media’s Ecommerce Growth Summit in Sydney, joining over 270 ecommerce leaders and industry professionals. Style Arcade had the privilege of hosting the highly anticipated tech panel, bringing together experts from Lexer, Searchspring, and Instant. Together, we explored how integrating product and customer data can unlock new levels of success across merchandising and ecommerce strategies. Our CTO, Tristan Hoy, shared key insights on the critical intersection of marketing and merchandising. As he aptly put it: “At the end of the day, you can’t sell what you don’t have, and a poor assortment can undermine even the most sophisticated marketing campaign.” We also highlighted how Style Arcade’s Dynamic Tagging empowers brands to regain control of their advertising efforts, ensuring optimised, data-driven campaigns. Collaboration between marketing and merchandising is no longer optional—it’s essential for ecommerce growth. 🤝 Thank you, Evocative Media, for hosting such an inspiring event, filled with diverse perspectives and actionable insights. And thank you to all our wonderful brands and retailers who attended! #ecommerce #retailanalytics #merchandising

If you’re ready to use returns data to your advantage, with advanced visual reporting and assortment planning, reach out to Style Arcade today. #ecommerce #returns #merchandising #retailanalytics

Heard from a fashion team last week: “We spend over a day each week data cleansing.” They were trying to remove the impact of out-of-stocks and discounting, which skew their full-price data. Many retail execs assume accurate size ordering happens naturally, but in reality, teams are pouring time into spreadsheets and BI extracts to try and get reliable insights. The good news? This problem is now solved, and focusing on Sizing Accuracy as a KPI can unlock massive profits. It’s time to start measuring the upside 💵

This isn’t just retail innovation—it’s planet-saving work. Kudos to Michaela Wessels for pioneering solutions that benefit both the bottom line and the environment! Retail has long faced challenges with unsold inventory and poor sizing accuracy, resulting in staggering financial losses and contributing to unnecessary waste. In the U.S. alone, $740 billion in unsold goods sat idle in 2023, while retailers globally lost $1.77 trillion due to inventory distortion, according to McKinsey and IHL Group. Michaela and Style Arcade are tackling these issues head-on. With their AI-powered tools, brands can make smarter decisions about what to stock and in what sizes, leading to a 4.5-point increase in gross profit within the first 12 months on their platform. More importantly, they’re also helping to reduce the $163 billion annual overstock problem, as noted by Bloomberg Intelligence, ultimately saving products from ending up in landfills. The part about sustainability and RSIN looks mostly correct but could be slightly refined for clarity and grammar. Here’s an improved version: Sustainability, in many ways, is a challenge we hear about daily from our NORA ~ National Online Retailers Association members and community. At RSIN (Retail’s Sustainability Network), our goal is to drive momentum across all sectors of the retail industry to embrace sustainable, circular, and ethical strategies. We strive to shift the tide to create a sustainable retail ecosystem, and we believe every brand has the potential to be a pioneer in this movement.
