Please join us in congratulating Douglas Kaskas for his extraordinary efforts recently at the Port Moresby domestic airport. While in the check-in line, Douglas responded swiftly when a woman nearby collapsed and stopped breathing. Alongside two other bystanders, he performed CPR, ultimately helping to revive her so that she was breathing independently by the time St. John’s Ambulance arrived. In recognition of his courage and commitment, Air Niugini honoured Douglas with a business class upgrade. Last year, Sun Engineering proudly participated in Peopleconnexion's annual book drive, supporting local schools and libraries in Papua New Guinea. In partnership with Buk Bilong Pikinini, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to promoting literacy in PNG, the drive collected an impressive 40,000 books. Sun Engineering contributed 2,261 books, thanks to the generous support of our local schools and community. 🌏 Recently, Peopleconnexion had the honour of visiting a local school, interacting with the children, and observing the positive impact of the donated books.
