Celebrating Veterans’ Health Week 🎖️ Earlier in the month, we proudly celebrated Veterans’ Health Week by hosting a BBQ and welcoming veterans from all corners of our business. It was a day of reconnecting, sharing stories, and fostering connections that bring fresh perspectives to our team. With this year’s theme, Keep Connected, we’re more committed than ever to becoming an employer of choice for veterans. Leading this initiative is Joe Piasecki, a former Navy Engineering Technician, who understands the challenges of transitioning to civilian life. Joe is spearheading our veteran engagement strategy, focused on creating more opportunities for veterans and cultivating a workplace that appreciates their unique skills. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us. Here's to forging stronger connections and brighter futures! 👏✨ #BuildingBetterTogether #VeteransHealthWeek #Symal #VeteranSupport #KeepConnected

School is in session 🏫 Gokmen Tokkuzun, Site Engineer at Symal, went back to his roots at Gladstone Park Secondary College, attending the Science Week Careers Expo to talk to the next generation about a career in the STEM industry. Explaining his journey through school, university and jumping headfirst into the construction industry, he highlighted the importance of being willing to learn, putting yourself out there and not being afraid to push what's possible. "It was an absolute honor to spend some time with students and give them insight into a career that most of them had no understanding of," says Gokmen. At Symal, we know that careers in construction come in all shapes and sizes. Our industry leading career pathway programs help young people gain the knowledge, practical skills and momentum they need for a strong start. From high school work experience to our immersive graduate program, Ignite, we're proud to support the up and coming our people at any stage of their career. Amazing work, Gokmen. Thank you for inspiring the next group of construction superstars! 🌟 #WeAreSymal #BuildingBetterTogether #SymalCareers #GraduateJobs #CivilEngineering #Infrastructure
