According to the World Health Organisation about 60-80 million couples worldwide have infertility. Infertility is a huge part of our founding story and the experiences of our founders have heavily influenced our device. We are passionate about helping those experiencing infertility and developing a wearable device that delivers reliable insights on women’s fertility. A recent article by techUK discussing the top trends for medical design and technology 2024 described wearable medical technology devices as bridging the “gaps of cost pressures, labor shortages, and funding challenges” let alone giving patients more control and insight into their health. This combination of things is certainly what we see as pivotal for the health industry in the coming years. An industry which we aim to support by developing an innovative biosensor that provides women going through IVF with greater, more reliable insights into their fertility.
