We're excited to announce that Talisman has a new home at Level 3, 10 Market St, Brisbane QLD 4000! Our team has grown so much over the past four years that finding the right space for our Talisman family became a priority. This new office will not only be a home for us now but will grow with us into the future. We’re excited to welcome Claire McGahan to the Talisman team as our newest Principal Mining Engineer! Claire brings 15 years of experience from underground coal mines across Queensland and New South Wales. With a degree in Mining Engineering and a Graduate Diploma in Coal Mine Roof Strata, Claire has worked with industry leaders such as BHP, Whitehaven Coal, RungePincockMinarco, and Anglo American. Her expertise spans life-of-asset (LoA) planning, technical mine planning support, and reserve reporting. We look forward to the impact Claire will make as we continue to grow our Underground Mining Advisory Team!

We're proud to welcome Francois Grobler to the Talisman team as our newest Mining Engineer!   Francois brings 20 years of experience in Coal, Platinum, and Uranium mining from South Africa and Canada. We're privileged to have Francois join us, having relocated all the way from South Africa to Australia to become part of the Talisman family. This significant move underscores our commitment to bringing top talent to our team. Francois will be working alongside his brother, Wynand Grobler, who's already an integral member of our organisation.   Please join us in giving Francois a warm Australian welcome as he settles into his new home and role!

Some of our Talisman team had the opportunity to attend #MINEXPO2024 in Las Vegas, where they connected with the global mining industry and explored many of the new concepts shaping the future of mining.
