No one is going to argue that we don’t need healthcare interoperability: tidy data, seamless communication, and semantic interoperability are all fundamental building blocks for more innovative solutions and efficient healthcare systems. But someone still has to pay for it, and the commercial realities of healthcare will always remain the same, meaning some will inevitably be left behind. Inflated expectations around the benefits of interoperability will bring more frustration, blame, and shifting responsibility about a perpetually broken system. Is it all doom and gloom, or just a matter of perspective? Join us as we explore how to better align expectations around interoperability. Is it the solution we need, or are we setting ourselves up for disappointment? Come and discuss the practicalities of what it can actually achieve and whether we can ever stop the endless cycle of dissatisfaction in healthcare.

As tech vendors rush to stake their claim in the AI space, many of the tools being developed sound great in theory but fall short in practice. While they may look novel and promising, the current regulatory frameworks aren’t built to handle the complexities of these innovations and wont move fast enough to keep up. This session will explore the hype vs. the reality of AI in healthcare and discuss the potential consequences when something goes wrong —especially in a landscape where accountability is unclear. Join Peter Birch and industry insiders live here on LinkedIn to navigate the practical and ethical challenges of AI’s rapid rise.

Celebrity-backed wellness products and biohacking longevity solutions are being pitched by investors as the pathway to a healthier world; where everyone gains a deeper appreciation for their health, improves their health literacy and learns how to live longer. Are we genuinely entering a new era where healthcare is more equitable and accessible? Or is it all just more marketing spin aimed towards the real target demographic - the privileged worried well? Are we leaving those most in need of care further behind? Join us for a live audio event here on LinkedIn hosted by Peter Birch as we discuss whether these trends are truly closing the healthcare gap or simply widening it, and explore how we can channel this attention and energy about longevity, wellness and biohacking towards addressing real-world problems affecting the broader population.
