Taylor Builders Pty Ltd is once again thrilled to collaborate with TP Aquatic Constructions and Splashtacular to carry out a new renovation project, this time focusing on the Weipa Swimming Pool located in the Cape York Peninsula. The warm climate all year round in Weipa makes the swimming pool a crucial facility for the local community. This project involves the complete reconstruction of the Plantroom, incorporating new filtration devices and systems for chemical control, along with an expansion of the leisure pool featuring innovative Splashtacular equipment. The Weipa Pool is situated right on the water adjacent to the magnificent Gulf of Carpentaria. Check out the magnificent view our team and subcontractors will get throughout the project.

Another outstanding Aquatic Centre project has been successfully completed by Taylor Builders, TP Aquatic Constructions, and once again, they have utilized the impressive Splashtacular range of water features. This collaboration highlights their commitment to delivering the best possible experience for visitors. To ensure swimmers can enjoy the highest quality water, the state-of-the-art Defender ultra fine perlite filtration system was installed in the 50m pool. This advanced filtration system effectively removes impurities, ensuring a clean and safe swimming environment for all. The implementation of such cutting-edge technology demonstrates the company's dedication to providing top-notch facilities. The project encompassed more than just constructing a new pool. It involved demolishing the existing pool, amenities, and plant room, and then building a state-of-the-art 50m x 6 lane pool complete with a disabled access ramp. In addition to the main pool, a brand new splashpad featuring the exciting Splashtacular water features was installed. One of our newest projects brings us to the charming town of Proserpine, where we have recently kick-started the conversion of a fitness gym into a modern mental health facility for Queensland Health. After being selected as the principal contractor not long before Christmas, we immediately set to work, starting with the installation of protective fences and the establishment of the construction site, followed by the commencement of demolition work early in 2024. As of now, a considerable portion of the demolition work is complete, paving the way for the next phase of the project. The process of installing the necessary services is underway, and we are concurrently reinforcing the structure, ensuring it adheres to the most recent building standards.
