Sinkholes can be a major headache for Councils, causing significant disruptions to road integrity and traffic management. What could have led to lengthy roadworks, we resolved without any digging or disruption to this main highway! We also addressed the root of the problem by restoring the underground drain’s structural integrity. Another outstanding job by the SA team! Shots by Isaac Young 👏

In 2023, we set a new world record for the Longest Submerged Sonar Inspection, beating our own 2013 record—a true testament to our team's dedication and cutting-edge technology. Our comprehensive assessment of silt levels in a 2.4km ocean outfall, using a sonar-equipped sub from the MSI toolkit, proved the effectiveness of the cleaning program, reducing silt volume from 479m³ to just 40m³ over the decade. Navigating the challenges of variable flow output and tidal cycles was no easy feat, but we successfully tethered a rope through the pipeline, ensuring safe and efficient operations—even accessing the downstream surge chamber through a farmer’s paddock post-harvest! Never a dull moment at TDG—we’re all about pushing boundaries and delivering results.
