The TerraCycle Australia & New Zealand team were delighted to judge this year’s Keep Australia Beautiful NSW Sustainable Cities Awards and attend the award ceremony earlier this week. It was inspiring to learn about the environmental initiatives that councils, businesses, and thought leaders are bringing to their communities and the impact that they are making. We also saw some familiar faces, including Caddies Creek Public School, who #recycle with TerraCycle’s free recycling programs! Thank you to last year’s overall winners Penrith City Council, for hosting a wonderful event, as well as Valerie Southam, Veronica Dullens, and Deborah Kelly for all your hard work in bringing the event together. Jeanne-Vida Douglas, Paula Clasby, Anna L., and Jemima Lindsay from our ANZ team were all on hand to help with the awards, and it was a great opportunity to catch up with environmental leaders from across NSW. A big congratulations to all of the winners, including Inner West Council, Cumberland City Council, Airds High School, Seabin Foundation, Camden Council NSW Australia, Liverpool City Council, Bayside Council (NSW), Blacktown Arts. It was great to see your efforts recognised and shared.
