💥Friday Flashback💥 Niipu-niipu Wama/Morton Park and Morton Road Sports and Community Hub, Onkaparinga, SA In 2021, the Roger Rasheed Sports Foundation in conjunction with the City of Onkaparinga and the federal government transformed a neglected area in Christie's Downs, south of Adelaide into a premier skate park plus top quality venue including four tennis/netball courts, a backcourt hitting board, a top-quality oval, climbing and BBQ area, wheelchair facilities and more. Shelter, tables, and seating were an essential part of the design. Terrain Group supplied the classic Capricorn Shelter which you can find in various locations throughout the park along with bike hoops. 'Niipu-niipu Wama', which means 'Friendship Park' opened in October 2021 and is now visited by thousands of people annually. The Roger Rasheed Sports Foundation; is a not-for-profit charity that provides sports facilities and opportunities for extremely disadvantaged communities across Australia. Port Gibbon Campground, Port Gibbon SA 20 km south of Cowell you will find the beautiful beachside town, of Port Gibbon. Known as an old shipping port it is now a small shack settlement and home to Port Gibbon campground. Recently District Council of Franklin Harbour added the Elements Capricorn shelter 8mtr long x 4mtr wide, and the Elements Monace table setting, 1800mm in length located at the beachside campground. Structural grade aluminum construction was used to ensure the Capricorn would withstand the harsh coastal conditions, and featured colours include black anodised frame & posts, and colourbond roofing material completed in Woodland Grey. The Elements Monaco table setting was finished in timbermatch; Western Red Cedar with Citi Pearl powdercoat finish frame, legs, and fixes.
