  • A good thing happens when you use #Copilot Actions (rolling out to Targeted Release Now) to "Catch Up".... Take the Action below where I create an action to Summarize key takeaways and action items from #Email and #MicrosoftTeams messages from a specific person from a period of time in the past. This creates a Loop Page in My Workspace. Make that a repeatable action and you will get everything in the one Workspace.

🧢 Microsoft MVP - Helping you turn SharePoint and Copilot into your Secret Weapons

G'day #LinkedIn! **First Look** Just took Copilot for a spin to create #SharePoint pages. Ended up being a 16 ish min video, here are the highlights though. When you want to create a new page, you've now got two approaches you can take First approach? Start with a #Copilot template. You can create newsletters, events, status updates, process pages - you name it. Second approach? Just describe the page you'd like to create using natural language. I tried making an HR resources page with sections for policies, employee benefits, and professional development - Copilot built the entire structure right away. Now, it's still in preview so there are limitations. It's mostly adding text web parts right now, but it gives you that quick starting point that you can then customize. Sub to the newsletter today as the FULL Deep Dive will be delivered to over 6500 Inboxes soon

Do you use Copilot for quick questions and then start a new chat each time? I think this little insight might have a big impact in the way you talk with Copilot. When I spoke with Abram, he explained how he approaches it differently, "I treat the business chat session as a job, not just for the question I have right now." Why this matters? - Your entire project context stays in one conversation - Multiple specialized agents can access the same context - Work continuity whether you're working on it today or next week - Each agent's output becomes context for the next agent As you will hear.... "The way that my job works is I have several projects up in the air at any given time... It's really helpful to have a single chat session focused on the project as opposed to the question that I have right now." What I found interesting is how he at-mentions different agents within the same chat to handle specific tasks while maintaining the full project context. This approach really helps Copilot become part of your workflow rather than just another tool you have to manage. #MicrosoftCopilot #AIWorkflow #ProjectManagement #FutureOfWork

You've been doing it for 20+ years. Need information? Open a browser. Type in keywords. Click search. It's automatic. Almost like breathing. I heard this consistently from attendees at the Melbourne Prompt-a-Thon. "I've always Googled everything. It's just what I do," Why is this habit so hard to break? You trust what you know. Search gives you control. You see the sources. You decide what looks credible. Having a digital assistant just give you an answer? That feels strange. "I need to see where the information comes from. That's how my brain works." There's also the comfort factor. Talking to a digital assistant is different. It's a new skill. And let's be honest – workplace habits are contagious. A success story that was shared with me reiterated the point that AI adoption and implementation should be about solving problems and not using fancy technology. Stop thinking about "implementing new tools" and instead focus on fixing a painful monthly reporting process for example. Suddenly it's not about technology. It's about solving a real headache. Take Copilot, think of it as your tireless teammate. The senior leaders I work with relax when they stop seeing technology as a replacement. Instead, they see it as a helpful assistant who can: - Draft that first version - Dig through the data - Summarize the boring stuff Your judgment still matters. You're still in charge. As a leader.... Show, don't just tell. Use these tools yourself. Talk about it. When your team sees you trying new approaches, they follow. As a #CEO if you can demonstrate how you prepare for a board meeting using Copilot, your leadership team will take notice. Oh, and you must KILL OFF the "cheating" mindset. You'd be surprised how many leaders feel guilty using "digital assistants" "It feels like I'm not doing the work," As a leader, you can crush this thinking. Be explicit: "This is how we work now. It's not cheating. It's working smarter." If you found these insights useful, I think you might find my newsletter valuable as well, it's where I share weekly tips and strategies on becoming an AI-first leader and organization.
