The silly season is rapidly approaching, and for many, it brings a mix of excitement and stress. Whether it's work, family, or simply the pressures of the end-of-year rush, it can feel like you're carrying the weight of the world. But amidst the chaos, there’s an opportunity to pause, reflect, and recharge. I’m inviting you to take a deep breath and join me for a one-day retreat designed for those who carry a lot on their shoulders. This retreat is for successful business owners, leaders, and professionals who understand the importance of slowing down in order to speed up—those who recognise that to lead and care for others, you must first take care of yourself. Back in May, I partnered with Michael Ellis to run a similar event, and the impact was profound. Michael has put together a beautiful reel that highlights the day—a reminder that even in the busiest times, taking a moment for yourself can make all the difference in how you move forward. If you're ready to restore your energy and reconnect with what matters most, this retreat is for you please register for one of the dates in November. https://lnkd.in/gG9u4gvF #ResonanceRetreat #Leadership #PersonalGrowth #RestoreBalance #SelfCareForLeaders

Michael Ellis on Instagram: "The second in A Series of Extraordinary Events took place yesterday. A group of big hearted, open minded, courageous humans met some other big hearted equine friends, and we connected. That was the theme and intention for this event - connection. Deep connection with self, with each other and with nature. It seems like so many of us are craving this kind of experience.

Take your development to greater heights by digging deeper True personal growth requires more than surface-level changes. It’s about digging deeper—exploring your values, your emotions, and your connections with others. When you invest in your inner development, it reflects in your outer leadership. Digging deeper isn’t always easy, but it’s the most rewarding path. It means confronting blind spots, becoming more aware of how you show up, and embracing vulnerability as a strength. This is the journey we embark on at the “Resonance” retreat—a space for profound self-reflection that leads to lasting growth. My own journey took many twists and lots of persistence. From a thriving globally renowned career to being homeless from a natural disaster to taking my one surviving horse to be fixed with Equine Therapy where I realised that I was faking my cool calm and collected but just like a duck on water, while the above waterline looked good, below the surface things were going crazy. I was the one who needed to change and get better. It lifted the veil and revealed my blind spots very quickly. 🔍 If you’re ready to take your personal development to the next level, join us at the “Resonance” retreat. It’s a day designed for leaders who seek deeper insights and lasting change. #PersonalGrowth #LeadershipDevelopment #DigDeeper #ResonanceRetreat https://lnkd.in/gSpUNSdC.

Self-Care Is Not Selfish As leaders, we often put others first—whether it’s our teams, our families, or our clients. But here’s the truth: you cannot pour from an empty cup. Self-care is not selfish; it’s essential. It allows you to be at your best so you can give your best to others. Those who give everything to others will definitely burn out, make poor decisions, and put greater risk on all aspects of their life. When you take time for self-care, you’re not just benefiting yourself—you’re setting an example for those around you. Leading by example means showing your team that balance and well-being are priorities, and that performance doesn’t have to come at the expense of personal health. A well-rested leader is more resilient, focused, and compassionate. 🧘♂️ The “Resonance” retreat is designed to help you do just that. Set in nature, this one-day retreat is your chance to pause, replenish, and emerge with renewed focus and strength. Plus you get to expand your skills which benefits everyone around you and ultimately makes life easier for you. #SelfCareForLeaders #LeadershipWellbeing #ResonanceRetreat #EmotionalResilience https://lnkd.in/gSpUNSdC.

The Power of Slowing Down to Speed Up In a world that’s constantly pushing us to go faster, the idea of slowing down can seem counterintuitive. But true leaders know that the moments of pause—of reflection—are where real growth and clarity happen. By slowing down, you create space to refocus, gain perspective, and move forward with greater intention and purpose. This is the essence of resonant leadership—leading with calm, centred energy. ⏳ If you’re ready to hit pause and recharge, I invite you to join us for the "Resonance" retreat. A day to slow down, reflect, and reignite your passion for leadership. Type "YES" in the comments and I'll shoot you the details. #SlowDownToSpeedUp #LeadershipReflection #ResonantLeadership #ResonanceRetreat

Empowered Leaders know how to boost their people easily. Great leadership isn’t about controlling the outcome; it’s about empowering your team to find their strengths and rise. Empowered leaders naturally inspire, support, and lift their people without having to push. Empowered leadership comes from an inner sense of balance and self-awareness. When you’ve nurtured your own emotional intelligence, it becomes effortless to connect with your team on a deeper level and inspire them to perform at their best. The key is leading from a place of calm confidence, where your energy naturally supports and uplifts those around you. It helps guide your compass, responses and resilience. How do you develop your emotional leadership? Well let's break it down to the 4 or 5 elements that are defined in emotional intelligence by Daniel Goleman. • Self-awareness: Horses are highly sensitive to emotions and body language. When participants interact with horses, they receive immediate, honest feedback on their emotional state. This helps individuals become more aware of their own emotions and behaviors in real time. • Self-regulation: Horses respond to the emotional energy of those around them. For example, if someone approaches a horse with tension or frustration, the horse may react with similar tension. This creates a safe space for participants to practice calming their emotions and encouraging self-regulation. • Motivation: Working alongside horses requires patience, persistence, and genuine intent. The process of building trust and cooperation with a horse fosters intrinsic motivation and teaches participants the value of non-verbal communication and perseverance. • Empathy: Horses communicate primarily through non-verbal cues, which encourages participants to develop a heightened sense of empathy. They must “listen” to the horse’s body language and emotional state to build a positive relationship. • Social skills: EAL often involves group work, where participants collaborate to achieve a goal with the horse. This enhances communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills, essential components of social competence. Partnering with horses creates a unique learning environment where emotional intelligence is developed experientially, in a non-judgmental space where immediate feedback is provided through the horse’s reactions. 🌟 If this sounds like something you want to action, I invite you to join us at the “Resonance” retreat—a unique space to recharge, reflect, and reimagine your leadership approach. #EmpoweredLeadership #ResonantLeadership #LeadershipJourney https://lnkd.in/gSpUNSdC.
