Check out the results some of our Candidate Coach clients achieve last quarter 👇 Like us to do the same for you? Get in touch, we'd love to chat 😃
What experience are you really giving your candidates? It's likely that 90%+ only ever hear from you via tightly scripted templated emails that are cold, generic and show little effort. Alternatively, here's some results from TheCandidateCoach clients over the last 3 months. Our platform can be used in so many ways, for so many audiences. But our sweet spot is your rejected candidates - with us you'll be able to look after these candidates in a way that promotes your employer brand and protects your consumer brand. Get in touch to learn how.

Turn your candidate rejection emails into a positive experience for the candidate? We can show you how 😁 A great post from Will McPhee - corporate rejection emails are often generic and cold. But it doesn't have to be that way. Get in touch with James Witcombe if you would like to see some examples of how forward thinking organisation are creating value and promoting their brand through their rejection email.
Recruiting Managers and Leaders across Call Centre, Sales, Support and Service - When hiring, hire SMAART
I saw a post on Reddit this morning complaining about receiving rejection emails for positions they had applied for. This post had a lot of support and upvotes, with people laughing and sharing their own rejection emails. While some of the rejection emails shared weren't going to be shortlisted for the Nobel Prize for Literature, most were well-written, sympathetic without being patronizing, but perhaps a little too corporate cliché for some. Around five years ago, there was a big push throughout both internal and agency teams about the need to respond to every applicant. So much so that The Circle Back Initiative Initiative was created—a group of businesses committing to doing just that. However, this is the timeline: - Applicants disgruntled about not receiving confirmation - Applicants angry about not being told if they had been successful or not - Applicants annoyed about a generic email saying they hadn't been successful I guess the last step here would be giving tailored and specific feedback to all applicants? Which, put simply, is not possible. At SMAART Recruitment, Director James Witcombe has created a whole job seeker platform called TheCandidateCoach, which we provide free to all applicants as a thank you for their time and consideration. It provides coaching, templates, tests, and checklists to help anyone, regardless of their background, in their job search. I know the job hunt is hard, it's exhausting, and there's not one person who likes rejection after putting themselves out there. But I was annoyed to see such contempt toward businesses trying to do the right thing. Is it a case of 'you can please some people some of the time,' or is complaining to strangers on the internet a source of comfort and therapy? (The irony is not lost on me here, I just like complaining!)
