Today brings a focus on this important topic, and next week's Unipart Big Charity Challenge sees activities across our sites to raise funds for Mind including 'walk and talk' sessions to encourage us all to move more and talk about mental health issues.

We are pleased to announce the acquisition of the former Schaeffler Rail Bearing reconditioning business in Sydney, New South Wales, expanding Unipart's rail capabilities and offering in the Australia market. This railway bearing reconditioning business has a long history of serving both passenger and freight rail customers across Australia and is responsible for the refurbishment of around 20,000 bearings and axle boxes per annum, making it a critical component of the rail maintenance supply chain. Saudi Arabia is the largest economy in the Middle East and is focused on transforming the Kingdom into a transport and logistics hub for Europe and Asia as part of its Vision 2030 strategy. Country Director Tahir Malik will lead the expansion of Unipart’s operations in Saudi Arabia, bringing more than 20 years’ experience in logistics in the Kingdom. Earlier this week we announced Unipart’s 2023 financial results which reflected a strong year of growth and expansion in 2023. Unipart revenues exceeded £1bn as we delivered record growth.
