    3.5 years ago, I returned to Sydney from Miami, armed with two key insights: 1. To curb the growing epidemic of chronic and mental health conditions, we need an unconventional approach. It became clear that we had to stop looking for the solution in the medical economy. 2. Any scalable approach must first align values, incentives, and outcomes with its economic beneficiaries. For the next two years, I engaged with hundreds of stakeholders both inside and outside the medical economy. What became evident is that the brands we love and trust—the ones we interact with daily—hold a unique power. These brands have far greater influence and incentives to keep consumers healthy than anyone within the medical economy is resourced or incentivized. With this realization, we published our blueprint, "Prevention as a Service® – A Business Model That Will Fix Healthcare," which garnered significant media attention, and Unleash Health® | The Prevention-as-a-Service® Company was born. Their 2024 Global Wellbeing Report revealed that despite 89% of people taking more action to improve their wellbeing, we’re still stuck in a cycle of stagnation. Levels of physical, mental, and social health haven’t improved, with 53% of respondents citing conflicting information on how to live and feel better. The takeaway is clear: simplicity wins. The report suggests that an intuitive, balanced approach—grounded in self-awareness, movement, and community—has the potential to break the burnout cycle and drive better health outcomes.
