    Montu has been ranked number one in LinkedIn Australia’s coveted Top Startups list for 2024. The list, published by LinkedIn each year, lists 20 Australian companies that are continuing to innovate and attract top talent. Montu’s listing is the second time a company in its sector has made the cut, after the organisation placed fifth on the list in 2023.     UntilNow turns 5! 🥳 Back before Figma had auto-layouts and AR was bigger than AI, there were just 5 people in a tiny office, designing user flows and crafting icons. 5 years later, we’ve worked on over 32 products, crafted over 25 brands and averaged a whopping 52x value boost in our client’s businesses during our time with them. Oh and yep, those 5 people are still here (plus a few more) 🤍

    Align your Product, GTM and Ops teams with our easy-to-use North Star Metric workshop template 👇 Like and comment to get the Figjam template. At UntilNow we work with a lot of post-PMF startups, and have noticed their product teams face a handful of universal challenges: 🧩 The product is more complex. You’ve solved a problem for your ICP, then another one, then another one, You’ve dug yourself deep and you’ve unlocked a ton of value for your customers, BUT you’ve also built a mountain of technical debt, domain knowledge, and context. ⚔️ You’ve got competing priorities. You’re at risk of saturating the original market. But that’s OK because you’ve uncovered adjacent opportunities to sell your customers another product, or sell (a different flavour of) your product to a different market. 🤹♂️ The founder is (a lousy) head of product. Are you the founder? Sorry, you were awesome. You got them here, and you still hold the most knowledge out of everyone, but you’re too far removed from the customer and spinning too many plates. That means high risk of making uninformed top-down decisions about the product strategy. 👨🍳 There’s too many cooks. Also known as “stakeholders”. Those people that chase you for timelines, call BS on your roadmap, demand more “sizzle” for a press release and promise features you told them won’t work. If these resonate, then you need a proven approach to aligning product strategy and customer outcomes with company goals while decentralizing decision-making. The North Star Framework popularized by John Cutler and Amplitude is one of those approaches. Most product teams fail at introducing a North Star Metric, so we thought we’d help them out. Our Figjam template will guide you through the process of defining your North Star and your Input metrics with clear definitions and examples.
