Variscan Mines (ASX: VAR) is pleased to release its quarterly, with highlights including: • The Novales-Udias Project’s land package expands by 70% after five new licences are awarded • These new licences, which cover an area of 36.66 km2 , are immediately adjacent to Variscan Mines’ existing San Jose and Buenahora tenements • The new areas extend the Novales Trend to the northeast to approximately 12 km in strike length • The new licences deliver increased scale to the Novales-Udias Project and provide de-risked exploration opportunity over very prospective areas • Historical drill results include some significant zinc mineralisation intercepts ”We were thrilled to significantly increase the size of our Novales-Udias project during the June 2024 quarter, with the Company gaining five new licence areas that infill and expand our project tenement area by some 70%. Variscan's advanced zinc projects in Spain are located in provenmining districts: the Novales-Udias Project located in the Basque-Cantabrian Basin, 30km south west from the regional capital, Santander; and the Guajaraz Project located in the Central Zone of the Iberian Massif, approximately 60km south west from national capital, Madrid. Spain is an attractive mining jurisdiction with increasing international investment.
