Milestone alert! Structural works on the $115 million Maryborough and District Hospital redevelopment are now complete. The state-of-the-art project will deliver: 🏥 a new urgent care centre 🛌 a 32-bed inpatient and maternity unit 👩⚕️ two operating theatres and recovery spaces 🩺 a day medical centre with imaging, pharmacy, and pathology services. The expanded multi-storey carpark at Ballarat Base Hospital is now complete, providing a significant boost in carparking for patients, staff and visitors. 👷👷♀️Delivered by John Holland, more than 45 people spent around 40,000 hours and 500 tonnes of steel went into delivering the seven-storey carpark. A multi-million-dollar upgrade of the Noble Park Early Parenting Centre (EPC) is complete.  The project has delivered a new building which includes a welcoming entrance, four additional residential family units, a dining room, nurses’ station and refurbished and extended administration areas. The centre, managed by the QEC, supports parents and caregivers of little ones aged 0-4 with:  👶 sleep, settling or feeding   🤱 bonding   🧸 developmental milestones   🤱 adjusting to parenthood and building parenting skills.
