Get to know Mimo Mukii and Maya Johnson, the recipients of the Victorian Screen Internship! 👋 Mimo is an emerging producer from Melbourne, with a passion for creating screen stories that speak to and reveal the untold stories of underrepresented communities. Mimo has produced several short films, including their debut feature film Pasa Faho, which is part of VicScreen’s Originate Features initiative. Maya is a proud Wulgurukaba woman from Yunbenun (Magnetic Island), on a mission to share First Nations stories. She worked at ABC in Melbourne creating content and campaigns for ABC Indigenous, and has also produced content for Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair Foundation, Creative Australia and worked in production roles.
