With Weeding Hire's comprehensive supply of marquee, flooring, lighting, heating, glassware, tableware, cutlery, dance floor, seating, tables, and linen, the evening was transformed into an enchanting experience. Guests were treated to a seamless blend of natural beauty and refined elegance, showcasing the best of Tasmanian hospitality and the group's dedication to creating unforgettable moments.

Matson Hospitality Group (MHG), we take pride in our flexibility and adaptability, traits that have been thoroughly tested over the past month. Despite various challenges, our team has shown exceptional resilience and creativity. The unexpected power outage in Invermay last week could have been a major disruption for many, but MHG was unfazed. Our functions team, under Miguel's astute leadership, quickly relocated the Transheds Functions to our sister companies' venues. The Matson Catering Board Room, The Basin Café, and The Gorge Restaurant, skillfully overseen by Adrian, were swiftly converted into corporate meeting spaces. Our clients were highly impressed with the smooth transition and the alternative venues provided, particularly The Tramsheds Function Centre, which was affected by the power cut for two days. Hosting a conference at The Gorge Restaurant turned out to be a resounding success. Set against breathtaking views, the venue offered a memorable setting for our guests. The cuisine, provided by our sister company Matson Catering, was a standout feature. Lee, Marlo and their team performed culinary wonders, serving delectable morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea that garnered universal praise. Our collaboration with the 2024 Tasmania Open DanceSport Championship marked another highlight for Matson Catering, as we served over 270 corporate attendees, demonstrating our dedication to excellence and superior service. Weeding Hire also experienced a bustling month, successfully installing over 1460 square meters of Marquees, Hoecker structures, furniture, and flooring, proving our ability to manage large-scale events effortlessly at the V8’s at Symmonds Plains. The Tramshed Function Centre played host to The Bush Summit and ASMIT, reinforcing our status as a flexible and dependable venue for a variety of large-scale events. Meanwhile, The Gorge provided a picturesque setting for an enchanting evening of romance, where guests enjoyed the best of what Tassie has to offer. This past month has been a testament to the strength and spirit of MHG. We've faced challenges head-on and emerged stronger, proving that no matter what comes our way, we can adapt, overcome, and continue to provide exceptional experiences for our clients.
