📢 West Wits will participate in the upcoming London 121 Mining Investment Conference on 14 & 15 November. Our Chairman, Michael Quinert, and COO, Rudi Deysel, will engage with investors to discuss the funding requirements of our flagship gold project, Qala Shallows. The project is poised to generate substantial returns for shareholders and positively impact local communities. 🔑 Key Highlights: * Qala Shallows has secured all essential permits (Mining Right, Environmental Authorisation, Water Use License) and established a robust infrastructure base. * A South African Development Finance Institution (DFI) has completed due diligence, and a banking syndicate is in the final stages of credit approval for up to 50% of peak funding. * With gold prices reaching a high of US$2,749/oz, the timing is ideal for advancing our gold project. Securing the proposed syndicated loan would lay a strong foundation for completing the remaining project funding. West Wits recently hosted a team from the Minerals Council South Africa's Mining Industry Occupational Health and Safety division at our Qala Shallows site near Soweto. Our Mining Superintendent, Brent Parker, and Martin Bevenlander, Head of Geology and Exploration, took the lead in showcasing the site. We’re thrilled to share that they were very impressed with how production-ready the site is. This is a strong validation of our ongoing efforts to building a world-class project that not only enhances South Africa’s mining landscape but also positively impacts surrounding communities.
