Nicole has over 14 years of experience working across areas such as elite sports, adolescent sports, tertiary paediatrics and now is the Managing Director of Western Kids Health, multidisciplinary private practice in Perth, WA. Nicole’s area of expertise is orthopaedics, rheumatology and neurodevelopmental paediatrics. Nicole is passionate about upskilling physiotherapists in musculoskeletal paediatrics and improving the understanding and practical management of kids.

Rowan Pearce, Head of Complex Care, accepted the award and spoke about the impact of our work on the lives of the families we support and the work with do with Arthritis & Osteoporosis WA and The Ehlers-Danlos Society. Our complex care team supports children and youth with complex, invisible conditions such as juvenile idiopathic arthritis, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, Ehlers Danlos syndrome, hypermobility spectrum disorders, functional neurological disorder and osteogenesis imperfecta.
