Our Sportsfield team led by Justin Quinn, maintain and renew our 53 sports fields across Whitehorse, including Box Hill City Oval. These facilities are highly used and under constant pressure from active sport and general community use, that has significant wear and tear impacts to the surfaces. Our team maintain an excellent standard given these ongoing challenges. Well done!
Meet the team behind our home ground and many others across Whitehorse City Council. In recent years we have seen a dramatic improvement in the condition of Box Hill City Oval, with it now sitting firmly as one of the premier grounds in the VFL and VFLW Competitions. We wanted to highlight the Turf Team for all their hard work and dedication, often coming in on Saturday and Sunday mornings to give the ground a final mow, remove the covers and generally make sure the ground is looking it’s very best for game day. So to Dean, Aaron, Kynan, Shayne, Steve & John, we appreciate you.
